Why Education is important?
Giving underprivileged children access to school is the best place to start when it comes to addressing issues like healthcare, poverty, unemployment, population control, and human rights. Children who receive an education not only have a more secure future, but also develop into responsible citizens of both their country and the world.
All children between the ages of six and fourteen are required to receive free and compulsory education under the 2010 Right to Education (RTE) Act. However, many youngsters in the nation have not seen a stable learning curve even after ten years. Several parents’ socioeconomic circumstances and inadequate instruction in schools are obstacles that keep many kids from receiving an education.
What we do?
The main initiative of the Sadbhav Foundation, Mission Education, is to empower disadvantaged kids by offering them wellness, nutrition, and educational opportunities. The program is in full compliance with SDG Goal 4 (Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote opportunities for lifelong learning for all) as well as the New Education Policy (2020).
Children (3–18 years old) living in challenging situations, children from low-income families, children with disabilities, children affected by disasters, abandoned and street children, and children living in tribal belts, isolated villages, and difficult-to-reach places are all served by Mission Education.
